New print – Surfers at Bilsdean Beach
I took this shot on a windy afternoon at Bilsdean Beach on the East coast of Scotland. Bilsdean Beach is part of the John Muir Way, a coastal trail that goes from Edinburgh to the Scottish Borders. These surfers were picking up their boards on the way back to the car park. I was struck by the contrast between the silhouetted figures of the surfers and the patterns on the surfboards. I only noticed the bird in the foreground of the picture later on.
